Rome at night

We arrived from Bucharest into Rome in the evening. After getting abraded by our hotel clerk for only staying in Rome for one night (and it being our first time too!) we went in search of dinner and Rome's best sights at night. Oh, and gelato too.
We walked down to the Campo d'Fiori and found a little, packed bistro just off the square with delicious food and wine. A great start to this Italian section of our trip. From there we hit up the sights. All of the squares were packed with people and every fountain was flowing and every statue lit with wonderful light. Even the alleyways were well lit, which may have an influence on the low crime rate (excluding pickpockets at tourist locations).
From Campo d'Fiori to Piazza Navarro, past the Pantheon, onto the Trevi Fountain and finishing at the Spanish Steps. There were people everywhere, and most had maps put trying to navigate the squirrelly streets. It did feel a bit surreal to see all of these famous sights in the stone, so to speak. The Romans really did do it right.

Ben practicing his modeling...

Honestly, I thought it would be a little bigger.

Oh wait, looks can be deceiving.

Yep, we each threw a coin.
