We hit the Coliseum (along with everyone else in Rome),
then meandered across the street and spent a good time wandering around the Forum.
Then it to the Pantheon, followed by a wonderful final dinner, in what was essentially Rome's version of a German beer hall, except with Italian beer and delicious, delicious Italian food. This was, of course, followed by the required gelato and one final visit to the Trevi.
What I learned in Italy:
1. Driving in Italy is super fun and not as harrowing as one thinks.
2. Tuscany is a wonderful place to get lost while driving.
3. One can actually eat too much gelato (shocking!).
4. One can't actually eat too much Italian food.
5. Italy is as amazing as I thought it would be.
